The situation making it impossible for musicians to physically play together, I recently tried using online solutions to play music in real time with other musicians. One of the software that seemed to be pretty popular – although on the technical side of things is called Jacktrip. It’s actually a pretty neat piece of software that let us record q100 using hi fidelity sound quality. This happens to be our first album with entr[ ]py, an ensemble of electronic music, free improvisation and live processed signal, and it was entirely recorded over internet.
Trumpeter Ryan Messina, bassist Michael Brownell and I have a band together and we’re playing our first show at Scholes Street Studio on December 8. This venue is rad come have a listen and support live music!
is the name I gave a graphic score finished earlier this year. It was composed for Extensions (guitar) Quartet, an amazing ensemble that I’m very proud to be a part of.
